In Japan, a man without fingers handed out 10,000 Bible study enrollment cards. In the southern part of the Philippines all church employees set aside one week exclusively for distributing Bible study enrollment cards. On the island of Grenada on one Sabbath all 60,000 homes on the island received a free Bible study invitation card. In Brazil someone found a Bible study card (with an offer of a free Bible) torn in two under the dirt beside a road. He picked it up, found the address was intact so he sent it in. He received his free Bible and Bible studies and today he is a baptized Seventh-day Adventist.
In Chickasaw, Oklahoma the four attending members were overwhelmed when 50 Bible study requests came in. A public meeting was arranged for, sixty attended, thirty continued to attend, and many are now baptized church members. These are some of the thrilling results of the Sow 1 Billion initiative, shared recently by Kurt Johnson, GC world Bible correspondence coordinator.
