Mindanao, Philippines is Focus of Northwest Evangelistic Activities

Twenty students, faculty, staff, and friends of Walla Walla College (which becomes Walla Walla University September 1, 2007) are blitzing the General Santos City area of the southern in the Philippines with ten simultaneous evangelistic reaping meetings during August 2007. Five students and five professors, led by WWC Spiritual Vice President Pedrito Maynard-Reid, are doing the preaching as well as leading out with a field school of evangelism for 50+ local pastors and lay leaders. You can follow their activities on their blog and enjoy their pictures posted on the internet. Let’s keep them in prayer.

NPUC church leaders Ramon Canals and Bryce Pascoe are returning from a pre-trip to the Cagayan de Oro area of Mindanao to make preparations for evangelistic reaping meetings in March 2008 featuring North Pacific Union Conference president Jere Patzer as well as thirty teams of pastors and lay preachers. The Quiet Hour and Share Him, partners in this evangelistic adventure, will be training teams of local lay leaders in October in DVD New Beginnings small group evangelism. We would love to have you join us March 13-29, 2008. More information will be provided soon.
