New Work Started in Whitefish, Montana

Children’s ministry has been a great way to establish Adventist work in new areas.

Tom Glatts, pastor of the Kalispell, MT Seventh-day Adventist Church district reports on efforts by members to establish an organized presence in Whitefish, Montana.

Sent August 14, 2007. “I thought you might be interested in this article about our recent VBS. We wanted to plant a church in Whitefish so we decided to hold a VBS there. Normally, have 35 children in our VBS program. This one had 110 on the first day. The other churches in town all held Group’s “Avalanche Ranch” program. God blessed the fact that we were different. We are now moving forward in Whitefish and have plans to start services in October, 2007. Courage in Christ, Tom”

Sent October 18, 2007. “Just letting you know that we have started worship services in Whitefish. We have had two services so far, 10 at the first and 22 last Sabbath. We are looking into the different possibilities of how to grow. Thanks for your prayers.”
