Master of Divinity

During 2008-09 the InMinistry Center at the SDA Theological Seminary provided four classes, during November and April, to pastors of the North Pacific Union. This delivery provides most of the curriculum for a MA in Pastoral Ministry, and the beginning courses for the Master of Divinity.

These intensives alternate between the North Pacific Union office and Walla Walla University. During each two-week period, two one-week intensives are conducted. Pastors are expected to prepare prior to class as well as do some follow up assignments afterward.

For the 2008-09 cycle of four classes, gross attendance was 33 in November, and 22 in April, with some attending multiple classes. Professors often comment on the high quality of teaching/learning that occurs during such intensives and frequently request to teach for InMinistry intensives.
