We were truly blessed during the evangelistic meetings that were held at the Granger Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church. The meetings ended April 11, 2009. Our young people were very excited with this project. They placed posters in some of the most important shops of the city, they distributed invitations, and they also advertised on the radio.
After all of the nights of preaching concluded, the great day arrived, the day of Baptism. Nine precious souls gave their lives to Jesus. Interestingly, the night, before the baptism, a wedding was held for a young couple. After the wedding, the couple was baptized. This was an emotional moment; the couple hugged each other while being submerged into the water. Afterwards, we toasted.
Family members were thrilled. With tears in their eyes they thanked the church for the wedding, the baptism and the toast. As a result from this testimony, the brother of the newly baptized man asked if he too could be married and baptized with his partner.
Do not be afraid to encourage new believers to take the steps established by the church and are supported by the Word of God because when the Lord “makes all things new again” there are additional blessings for all those who remain faithful. This will also attract others who are trying to separate themselves from God. For they too will be blessed.
