Lifelong Learning – Resources for Pastors

Pacific Press is committed to developing programs that will make a difference in the local churches. Here are a couple EXCELLENT programs that a pastor or an elder can easily use for prayer meetings and small groups.

  • The Great Controversy Countdown. Many times churches have set out on the noble endeavor of “studying through the Conflict of the Ages series” only to have the groups fizzle out long before the process is complete. Pacific Press, in cooperation with the White Estate, has produced a resource that empowers churches to study the great controversy theme of the Conflict of the Ages in just 13 lessons. The Great Controversy Countdown workbook is available at your local Adventist Book Center, at AdventistBookCenter.com, or by calling (800) 765-6955. At PacificPress.com/gcc, you will find a number of FREE downloadable resources: leaders guide, two PowerPoint programs (a basic version and an advanced version), and reproducible bulletin inserts and commitment forms. The Great Controversy Countdown will be available in Spanish very soon.
  • 10 Days in the Upper Room. This is a powerful resource written by Elder Mark Finley. The workbook has ten lessons designed to lead the reader into an “upper room experience.” The 10 Days in the Upper Room workbook is available at your local Adventist Book Center, at AdventistBookCenter.com, or by calling (800) 765-6955. Elder Finley has recorded ten video sermons that correlate with the workbook. Each sermon is thirty minutes in length. You can show the video, then spend the next few minutes discussing the ideas Elder Finley presents. The videos are a FREE download here. 10 Days in the Upper Room is available in both English and Spanish.

It is our privilege to develop material to support local ministry!
