A recent discovery announced last week has unveiled a seal impression from Hezekiah, king of Judah. The size of a thumbnail, the seal was identified this year in material from excavations done during 2009 in Jerusalem by the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Imagery on the seal may suggest changes following Hezekiah’s recovery from terminal illness described in 2 Kings 20. Hezekiah lived from 715 to 686 B.C. Read more from the Adventist Review online.
