It’s not too late…

It’s not too late for your church or school to host Snapshots of the Savior with Ron Halvorsen, Sr.  Here’s a preparation checklist.

_____ Get Inspired! Watch a video clip or two of Ron Halvorsen, Sr. preaching at

_____ Inspire Your Churches.  The four video clips above are on the Northwest Spotlight on Mission (1st Quarter 2007) that has been sent to every 1st Elder and Sabbath School Superintendent in the NPUC. Show one clip each Sabbath morning until the meetings begin.

_____ Make sure the technical items are in place. Check with your audio visual people to be sure your church has (or has ordered from the equipment needed to receive the broadcasts April 21-28 on the Hope Channel. Ask them to practice recording a program from Hope TV so everyone is ready in advance.

_____ Let the world know you are hosting this event. Ask your clerk to be sure your church is listed as a host site on by signing up at (same place the church membership records are kept).

_____ Keep your congregation informed. Put up plenty of posters and use bulletin inserts each week (available for free download at Additional promotional materials are available at Preach on the importance of lost people to Jesus (Luke 15 has plenty of good sermon material). Provide “My Prayer List” to every member if they don’t already have it (available from your conference ministerial director or at Encourage the members to invite their friends and neighbors.

_____ Pray, Turn of the video projector, love the people and be blessed. Instead of worrying about how many will come, pray for those that do come that they will make decisions they will be proud of for eternity. Jesus said it would be worth leaving heaven to come to this earth for even one person. Hosting Snapshots of the Savior is worth it for even one decision for Jesus and His last days’ message! Whoever is baptized this time will be likely to bring their neighbors and friends to the satellite reaping meetings coming from Boise this fall.
