The Puyallup Seventh-day Adventist Church held a Revelation Speaks Hope series from October 17 to November 22, 2008. It was fun to watch the Holy Spirit moving upon the people and realize how seed was planted by various methods years ago, to bring people to the point of making a decision for Christ and his truth.Luis Gandara used to be a Catholic and Pathfinder years ago. He enjoyed Pathfinders and never forgot the happy experience that he had with the club. His life time best friend, Dave Edwards, invited him to come to the series and Luis made his decision for Christ and his truth and was baptized.
Shawn Kaelin went to Nelson-Crane Christian School for 4 years when he was a child and says that those were the happiest days of his life. He received the brochure in the mail and brought his daughter, Brittany and his father, John, to the meetings. All three took their stand for Jesus and his truth and were baptized at the end of the seminar, because the seed was planted years ago.
Nine year old Mya Busick goes to Northwest Christian School (Puyallup’s Seventh-day Adventist School.) One night she responded to an alter call made by senior pastor, Kieth Noll. She turned and said to her mother “I want to go to the front.” Janice, her mother, said “if you want to go, you need to go by yourself” and Mya did!
All of the ministries sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist church are important and play a part in the spiritual journey that leads to decisions to follow Jesus and be a part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
