30-30-30 Church Planting Assistance Proposal
“Churches are to be organized and plans laid for work to be done by the members of the newly organized churches. This gospel missionary work is to keep reaching out and annexing new territory, enlarging the cultivated portions of the vineyard. The circle is to extend until it belts the world.” Evangelism p. 19.2
Every conference in the NPUC is encouraged to have a strategy to take the Adventist message to every person in its territory and plant new churches along the way.
For major projects the NPUC would like to assist with a $10,000 grant (as funds are available) to those newly planted churches that meet all three of these criteria-
- 1. Target Population– At least 30k population within a five mile radius who are not being reached with the Adventist message by an existing Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- 2. Core Group– At least 30 baptized Seventh-day Adventists signed up as charter members of the new company or group
- 3. Trained and Willing Members– At least 30 of the baptized members of the new company or group have received training to give Bible studies and have signed a commitment to give Bible studies during the current year
The grant would be presented at the time the newly planted group is officially organized into a company or a church, whichever comes first.
